In her role at the AWU, Cheri advocates for and represents members industrially in a diverse range of industries including Retail, Personal Services, Hospitality and Tourism. 

Cheri’s experience includes more than two decades representing Queensland workers in a very wide range of industries. Cheri also serves on the board of the Q Leave Community Service Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Authority as a non-executive director. 

Cheri has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Politics and Government) at Griffith University.
