SaCSA is proud to announce the release of our “Progress in Action” Workforce Plan Update 2025 for the Arts, Personal Services, Retail, Tourism and Hospitality sectors. These Progress in Action reports build on the issues identified and raised in the “Shaping Tomorrow” 2024 Workforce Planning Reports and outline our progress and next steps in developing practical and innovative solutions with industry for each of our unique sectors.
In 2024, SaCSA focused on building strong foundations to support our role as a Jobs and Skills Council. We built internal capability, fostered meaningful engagement across our sector, and created our Strategic Workforce Advisory Groups (SWAGs) to guide our work. Through consultation, collaboration, and participation in industry events, we began shaping a responsive agenda that reflects current and emerging workforce needs.
This update is shaped by the insights and lived experience of those working in the industry. It incorporates perspectives from employers, industry associations, training organisations, unions and government.
