Project Overview
Through extensive consultation and data analysis, SaCSA has identified a low completion rate of the CUA30420 Certificate III in Live Production and Technical Services, which suggests a disconnect between initial training engagement and successful entry into the workforce.
To address these gaps, SaCSA is developing a targeted pilot program in partnership with TAFE NSW and industry stakeholders. This pilot program aims to strengthen the pipeline of skilled workers in live production and technical services, helping to address current workforce shortages and better align training outcomes with industry needs.
The program will support learners who hold a Statement of Attainment (SoA) by providing a clear, guided pathway to complete the remaining units of competency. We will be offering work experience opportunities with industry partners to give participants real-world industry experience and the opportunity to build direct connections with employers. This will create stronger pathways to long-term employment in the performing arts sector.
